A clip-on generator set for refrigerated containers, available in Thermo King or Carrier build, new or used. 15 kW, 18.75 kVA at 460 V three phase, 60 Hz.

A clip-on hangs on the front of the container above the reefer machinery and attaches in minutes, either by pins to the header rail or by self-aligning ratchet clamps to the corner castings. That speed is the whole argument for the format: one set can serve several boxes over a week, and it comes off when the container is stuffed, stripped or handed over.

Both builds deliver the same electrical output, which is what an ISO reefer needs to start and run: 15 kW, 18.75 kVA, 460 V AC three phase at 60 Hz. The Carrier build uses a CT4-134DI four-cylinder water-cooled 2.2 litre direct-injection diesel with a 130 gallon tank, weighing about 1,675 pounds. The Thermo King build carries a 125 gallon tank and weighs 1,804 pounds (818 kg) complete with oil, coolant, a dry tank and battery, and takes the SG+ microprocessor controller with auto-restart, advanced diagnostics and automatic engine preheat.

Tell us which brand you are standardised on and whether your containers are set up for pin or clamp mounting, because the attachment is not interchangeable in the field. Safety stop controls on both builds cover low oil pressure and high water temperature. Condition is stated on the listing; Portline covers new sets for 90 days, refurbished for 30, and reclaimed as-is.
