Description
A 10 ft refrigerated container, new or used from $3,100 — the least expensive reefer in the catalogue, holding around 12.5 m³ between -25°C and +25°C with about one degree of control accuracy.
The 10 ft reefer earns its place through where it fits rather than what it holds. Event sites, tight yards, construction compounds, a supermarket back lot — anywhere a 20 ft box will not go but cold storage is still needed. Floor space takes up to ten Euro pallets in a single layer.
Temperature range depends on the machine: low-noise units typically run +5°C to -25°C, while marine high-performance machinery covers +25°C to -25°C. A five-pin 16 A reefer plug is available, and net weight is the lowest of any refrigerated container. Interior is stainless with a smooth-coated non-slip floor, entirely waterproof for outdoor use.
Common fittings include an easy-open lockable butcher door, an aluminium loading ramp, internal lighting with emergency power failure backup and a man-trap panic alarm. As with the larger units, doors can be substituted at 100×200, 120×200 or 140×200 cm.
