Description
A 20 ft ISO tank container, $3,400 — a stainless pressure vessel in a standard 20 ft frame, with capacity from 14,000 to 26,000 litres, supplied complete with pipework, valves, safety devices, level indicator and pressure gauge.
A tank container is a vessel first and a container second: the ISO frame exists so it can be lifted, stacked and carried by equipment that already handles boxes. Vacuum super insulation is included on these units, and food grade and chemical grade specifications are both available.
Type designations matter more than size here. T11 and IMO 2 at 26,000 litres are the common configurations for bulk liquids; what a given tank may legally carry depends on its certification, its last inspection and its previous cargo, not on its capacity. Transfer pump and filling hose are optional extras.
This is regulated pressure equipment. Filling, transport and storage all fall under rules that vary by product and jurisdiction, and the tank's documentation is what your regulator will want to see.
