Description
A 10 ft DNV 2.7-1 offshore container with a steel roof and double doors, sized for rigs and vessels where a 20 ft unit would take too much deck. Available new or used.
Think of this as a compact, heavily built locker for offshore work. The frame carries pad eyes for crane lifting, corner castings that accept twist locks so units can be secured side by side or on top of one another, protective bars around the vulnerable edges and forklift pockets for moving it around a supply base. Paperwork for production and sling testing is supplied where applicable, so the unit can be traced back through its build.
By the numbers: an outside envelope of 9 ft 10 in by 8 ft by 8 ft 6 in, an inside of roughly 9 ft 3 in by 7 ft 8 in by 7 ft 5 in, a tare near 1,960 kg and a rated gross of 11,500 kg. The heavier steel is why an offshore 10 ft costs more than an ordinary one of the same size.
No slings are bundled with the listed price. Order a certified set alongside the container if it is going offshore, because lifting or stacking without one is not permitted.
