Description
Tandem 5,200 lb axles with brakes on both, a 5 in C-channel tongue and a 5 in × 3 in quarter-inch bottom frame — the heavy end of the open utility range, finished in blue.
The frame specification is where the money went. Quarter-inch wall on a 5 in × 3 in bottom frame is substantially more steel than a standard utility build carries, and a 5 in C-channel tongue matches it. That is what allows 5,200 lb axles to be used properly rather than as a number on a sticker — the frame will carry what the axles are rated for.
Brakes on both axles rather than the rear only is the other upgrade, and at these weights it is the one that matters when you are stopping downhill. The reinforced loading ramp carries arm locks for the rear gate and a kicker on the ramp so it clears the deck edge cleanly. Pressure-treated flooring, D-rings and built-in tie-down points, 15 in wheels.
