Description

A single-axle 5 ft × 12 ft dovetail with two feet of mesh around it — the trailer most people actually need for yard work, at a price that reflects it.

Five feet of width keeps it narrow enough to reverse down a driveway and light enough to move by hand on the jack. The dovetail is what earns its keep: the rear of the deck angles down so the reinforced ramp meets the ground at a shallower angle, which is the difference between walking a mower up and catching its deck on the lip.

Two feet of expanded mesh all round holds mulch, bagged material, brush and yard waste in place at highway speed without turning the trailer into a sail. The deck is pressure-treated pine over a C-channel tongue, powder coated rather than sprayed, and it runs on 15 in wheels with bias-ply tires. Jack, coupler, safety chains and a spare tire holder are included.
