Description
A hydraulic tilt deck — sixteen feet that pivots to the ground, plus four feet of stationary front deck — on a gooseneck at 14,000 lb GVWR.
A tilt deck removes ramps from the equation entirely. Release the latch and the rear sixteen feet lowers under the load's own weight, controlled by a hydraulic damper cylinder so it settles rather than slams. You drive on, the deck returns level, and there is nothing to lift, store or leave behind at a job site. For low cars and long-wheelbase machines it is the shallowest approach angle you can get.
The four-foot stationary section ahead of the pivot stays flat, which gives you somewhere to strap the front of a vehicle and somewhere to put toolboxes that must not move. Drop axles lower the deck height further, and stake pockets, built-in tie-downs, a front chain basket and reflective DOT tape are fitted. Gooseneck coupling requires a pickup with a bed hitch.
