Description
A seven-foot-wide fourteen-foot deck framed with 2 in × 2 in welded tube top rail and uprights, on tandem 3,500 lb axles with rear brakes.
Seven feet of width is what separates this from the 6 ft 4 in trailers alongside it — eight extra inches across sounds small, but it is the difference between a pallet sitting square between the rails and sitting at an angle. On a fourteen-foot deck that is two full pallets end to end with room to strap them.
The tube top rail and uprights add rigidity where an angle-iron rail would flex, and the C-channel tongue carries it back to the coupler. A heavy-duty rear loading gate handles wheeled equipment, and the deck is pressure-treated pine, powder coated, with a spare tire holder. Greaseable hubs on both axles keep maintenance to a grease gun rather than a bearing repack.
