A 5×8 straight-deck utility trailer with 2 ft side rails and a single 3,500 lb axle — the small, affordable open trailer for yard waste, dump runs, firewood and a push mower.
Five by eight is the size a homeowner can tow behind a small SUV and store alongside the garage. Two-foot side rails keep brush and bagged debris from blowing off, and the tall spring-assisted gate at the rear lifts easily and doubles as a ramp.
It has a pressure-treated wood deck with tie-down points, a C-channel tongue, black diamond plate fenders and 15 in steel wheels and tires on one greaseable axle. Powder coat protects the steel better than paint. LED lighting is fully wired, a spare tire holder is fitted, and the coupler, jack and safety chains are included.
It is sized for storage beside a garage as much as for towing.
