Description
A four-horse rear load with a 15 ft short wall, 32 ft of floor at a full 8 ft wide, on 7,500 lb axles at 20,900 lb GVWR, with WERM flooring throughout.
Rear load rather than slant is the layout choice here, and on a four-horse trailer it means the animals face forward in line rather than at an angle — more room per horse front to back, and easier to load a difficult animal that objects to being turned. Mangers with access doors let you feed without opening the stalls.
The WERM floor is poured rubber bonded to the deck: seamless, well drained, quiet and much easier on legs than aluminum plank. Fifteen feet of short wall is a full apartment, here fitted with two TVs, a stereo, DirecTV hookup, a dinette, couch, upgraded mattress, dual cooktop burner and an awning, powered by an Onan generator recorded at 972 hours. A hay pod and hydraulic jack sit outside, on 17.5 in wheels and tires. Aluminum construction. Being used, the generator hours and the living quarters systems are worth testing before you commit.
