Description
A steel three-horse bumper pull with a 3 ft short wall dressing room, 17 ft box, 5,200 lb axles and a 10,400 lb GVWR against 3,200 lb empty.
The gap between the recorded weights is the interesting figure: 3,200 lb empty against a 10,400 lb GVWR leaves around 7,200 lb of capacity, which is far more headroom than three horses and tack will use. On a steel trailer that margin usually means the axles were specified above what the body needs, and it is why 5,200 lb axles appear under a trailer this size.
Seven feet of interior height is 21 hands, which suits horses up to roughly 15.2 — measure yours before assuming. Outside width is 6 ft 5 in, narrower than the current 6 ft 8 in to 7 ft standard, so it is a trailer for average-framed stock rather than wide-bodied horses. Steel construction means the floor and lower panels are the first things to check: lift the mats and look from underneath. Very clean, in the seller’s own words.
