1995 Featherlite 2HSLBP 2 Horse

Description

A 1995 Featherlite 2HSLBP all-aluminum two-horse trailer with a 2 ft short wall dressing room — an older, lightweight, budget-friendly trailer for occasional hauling.

Aluminum is why a thirty-year-old trailer is still worth considering: the body does not rust through the way an old steel trailer does. Recorded empty weight is about 2,800 lb and the GVWR 7,000 lb, so a mid-size pickup can pull it.

Up front is a small dressing room: 2 ft on the short side, 7 ft on the long side. The box runs roughly 15 ft, at 7 ft wide outside and 21 hands (7 ft) of inside height. It sits on 3,500 lb axles with 15 in tires, with a manual jack and a spare tire.

At this age, inspect the floor, wiring, brakes and bearings before hauling horses; the seller's notes do not record recent service. Figures are approximate.
