Description
An all-aluminum 5 ft × 10 ft utility trailer with a 36 in gate and mag wheels on a 3,500 lb drop axle, for someone who wants a light, rust-free trailer for mowers and yard work.
The whole thing, frame included, is aluminum extrusion. There is no wood deck to rot and no steel to rust, and it is light enough to move by hand around the garage. For a trailer that lives outside, that is the main argument.
The 36 in gate has a lawn-mower edge, a lip that lets a mower's front wheels roll on without catching. A 4 in drop axle rated 3,500 lb with greaseable hubs keeps the deck low. Tires are 6-ply, C-rated on 14 in mag wheels.
Wiring runs enclosed and bundled rather than loose along the frame, and the LED lights are sealed and DOT-compliant. A 1,500 lb jack with an 8 in wheel swings up out of the way when you are driving.
