Description
A used 10 ft storage container with a 7 ft steel roll-up door instead of hinged cargo doors, repainted charcoal grey. $1,500, recorded as 10 to 14 years old with minor rust and dents.
The roll-up door is the reason to choose this one. Hinged cargo doors need several feet of swing clearance in front of the box; a roll-up needs none, which matters when the container is tight against a fence, a building or another container. It also opens one-handed, which anyone who has wrestled two locking bars in the rain will appreciate.
Everything else is standard used stock: Corten anti-corrosive steel, a 19-ply 1.1 in (28 mm) marine grade plywood floor, weatherproof vents and forklift pockets. The unit is cargo worthy condition with the cosmetic wear you would expect at that age, and it carries its own roll-up door locking mechanism.
