20FT High Cube Container (9FT 6′ HIGH)

Description

A new one-trip 20 ft high cube container, 9 ft 6 in tall outside, for storing taller kit like compact diggers, mini excavators and plant machinery that will not clear a standard door.

The extra foot is what you are paying for. A standard 20 ft box has a door about 7 ft 6 in high. This one opens to 2.59 m, roughly 8 ft 6 in, and gives about 8 ft 10 in of clear height inside. That is the difference between a small excavator rolling in with its cab on and not fitting at all. It also leaves room for a mezzanine shelf above head height.

It is built of Cor-Ten steel with hinged double doors at one end, two locking bars per door, a factory-fitted lockbox, forklift pockets on both sides and eight vents. The floor is 28 mm marine plywood on steel cross members. The CSC plate is rated to 30 tonnes gross, and the box weighs about 2,320 kg empty.

Interior volume is about 1,320 cubic feet, in a space 5.84 m long and 2.35 m wide. The footprint is the same as any 20 ft container, so it fits wherever a standard box would.
