New 40HC Black Custom Container Home

Description

A new 40 ft high cube custom container home in black, $8,500 — a shell-price conversion with high cube height, laid out for bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom and living area.

At this price relative to the finished 40 ft conversions in the range, read the two photographs carefully to establish what stage of fit-out the unit is at. High cube height is the reason to start from this shell: it leaves 8 ft 10 in inside, so a framed and insulated build still finishes above eight feet of ceiling.

Forty feet of length is enough to divide into genuine rooms rather than zones — bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and living space, with real doors between them. Whether the finished unit may be occupied on your land is a matter for your local building department.
