Description
An 8 ft by 12 ft galvanised metal shed with a reinforced floor frame and double hinged doors, $1,600. Ships in three boxes totalling 296.6 lb; a forklift or equivalent is required to unload.
The floor frame is what separates this from a bare shed kit. Reinforced galvanized steel underneath gives the structure a base to sit on, keeps contents off wet ground and makes assembly considerably more straightforward than squaring a shell on a slab.
Exterior is 93 by 146 by 89 in with 88 by 139 by 89 in inside, at a 72.8 in wall height, and the design is reinforced with metal beams for leak resistance. Double doors with a lockable latch, a cottage-style front window and four vents. Door opening is 42.5 by 69.5 in. The same range runs in 8×6 ft as well as this 8×12 ft.
Note the unloading requirement: three boxes, the heaviest at 127.9 lb, and the manufacturer specifies a forklift or equivalent rather than two people and a wheelbarrow.
