The X4 7500 is the high-capacity model in the range, built on the X2 platform and aimed at fast pull-down and tight temperature control on demanding single- and multi-temperature work. Cooling capacity is 68,000 BTU/hr at a 35°F box temperature, 37,000 at 0°F and 24,000 at -20°F, all quoted at 100°F ambient.
EcoFORWARD technologies deliver 35 to 50 percent more BTUs of cooling per gallon of fuel than the units they replaced, alongside lighter weight and 24 percent less refrigerant charge. Refrigerant is R-452A, lower in global warming potential than earlier options. The APX control system handles temperature management and diagnostics.
Engine is a Tier 4 Final V2203L four-cylinder direct injection diesel making 24.8 hp (18.5 kW) at 1,800 rpm high speed, with a 15-quart oil capacity and a 70 A alternator. Condenser measures 1,940 × 2,176 × 579 mm and evaporator 1,684 × 1,149 × 280 mm. A remote 50-gallon aluminium fuel tank with brackets adds 65 lb and the battery 50 lb.
