The 480 delta to 208Y/120 configuration is the workhorse of site and facility power. It feeds a panel that has to serve both three-phase equipment and ordinary 120 V receptacles from a single transformer, which is what most container yards, workshops and small facilities actually need.
This is a floor-mounted unit at 28.15 in wide by 22.37 in deep by 29.41 in high in a steel NEMA 3R enclosure finished in ASA 61 gray, with aluminium windings, 60 Hz operation and an 80°C temperature rise — a lower rise than the 115°C and 150°C alternatives, which means it runs cooler and lasts longer at rated load. Standards are UL 1561 and C22.2 No. 47, file E12547, LR7357-32.
Installation is licensed electrical work: correct mounting with ventilation clearance, primary and secondary terminations, a dedicated ground and overcurrent protection sized between the transformer and the load.
