Description
A 10 ft dry container — the smallest standard ISO box made, roughly half the storage volume of a one-car garage. Listed new or used from $2,500, with a lock box, forklift pockets and a marine plywood floor.
Ten feet is the size people buy when a 20 ft box will not fit the site or will not fit the budget. It holds 563 cubic feet, weighs about 2,870 lb empty so a modest forklift can reposition it, and takes a standard 7 ft 8 in by 7 ft 6 in door opening — the same opening as a 40 ft container, which means anything that goes into a big box goes into this one too.
Construction is 14-gauge corrugated Corten panel with a 1-1/8 in marine plywood floor on steel cross members, weatherproof vents to cut condensation, and a factory lock box shrouding the padlock. It is a common choice for guard shacks, tool cribs, groundskeeping stores and equipment lockups on sites where space is measured in feet rather than yards. Condition is selectable at order; new means one-trip, used means a working box with honest wear.
