Description
A 7 ft × 20 ft tandem utility trailer with a dovetail and fold-in gate, two 3,500 lb Dexter axles and a 7,000 lb GVWR — long enough for a zero-turn plus a trailer-load of gear, or a small car.
Twenty feet is where a utility trailer starts doing jobs usually handed to an equipment trailer. Two mowers nose to tail, a UTV with a pallet behind it, or a load of lumber that would hang off a 16. The dovetail lowers the rear so the gate angle is gentler, and the gate itself folds forward onto the deck when you want the full length or less wind drag on the highway.
The gate is braced with five internal supports plus the two outer ones, so it does not bow after a season of mowers. Both greaseable Dexter axles have electric brakes with a breakaway kit, on 15 in Kenda radials. The tongue wraps back to the first wheel to stiffen the frame, and a recessed jack clears the dropped gate.
Six D-rings, diamond-plate fenders, a front-mounted spare holder, pressure-treated #1 pine floor, Optronics LED lights, a Ram coupler and a Sherwin-Williams powder coat finish.
