Description
A dovetail rear and four feet of mesh on a seven-by-fourteen deck — tall enough for loose material, low enough to load over by hand.
Four feet is the middle of the mesh range and the most generally useful height. It contains mulch, soil, brush and scrap without the wind loading of six-foot sides, and you can still reach over the rail from ground level to drop something in rather than opening the gate every time. On a fourteen-foot deck that is a lot of capacity for a trailer that still tows easily.
The dovetail gate dips the rear of the deck down, which cuts the ramp angle for anything wheeled and makes the gate itself shorter, lighter to lift and less prone to bending. The gate is reinforced beyond the usual and folds inside for transit. Tandem 3,500 lb axles with brakes, wrap-around tongue, 15 in radial tires, breakaway system fitted.
