Description
Rated at 10,000 lb GVWR on tandem 5,200 lb axles, with an 8 in I-beam main frame and five-foot stand-up ramps — this is an equipment trailer, not a heavy utility trailer.
The I-beam frame is the reason for the rating. Angle-iron utility trailers flex under a concentrated point load; an I-beam main frame carries a skid steer track or a tractor tire without working the welds. Pressure-treated 2×8 decking spreads that load, and the dovetail at the rear cuts the ramp angle so a low-clearance machine climbs on without grounding out.
The ramps stand up vertically at the back when not in use, which keeps them out of the way and off the ground. Four D-ring tie-downs are welded in — more anchor points than most trailers this size carry. Subtract the trailer's own weight from the 10,000 lb GVWR to find your working payload, and match the load to a Class IV receiver with a 2-5/16 in coupler.
