Description

A sixteen-foot dovetail with a welded front basket that opens from the side — a place for fuel cans, trimmers and hand tools that is not the deck.

The front basket is the reason to choose this one. On a working trailer the first two feet of deck always end up as a dumping ground for cans, cords and small tools, which is exactly where they get crushed by whatever gets loaded next. A basket ahead of the deck with side access takes all of that and keeps the sixteen-foot floor clear for the actual load.

Commercial-grade leaf spring axles in tandem 3,500 lb carry brakes on the rear axle. The dovetail rear reduces the loading angle, and the reinforced gate handles daily use. Deck is pressure-treated pine on a C-channel tongue, powder coated, with black diamond-plate fenders, built-in tie-downs, a spare tire holder and new 15 in steel wheels.
