Description
A 45 ft high cube — five feet longer than a 40 ft on the same 8 ft width and 9 ft 6 in height, giving 3,037 cubic feet. Listed at $5,000, with a 10,628 lb tare.
Forty-five-footers are the longest ISO container in general circulation and the best volume-per-dollar in the catalogue when you have the room to put one down. Interior length runs 44 ft 3 in, which is roughly two full-size pickups nose to tail, and the high cube roof gives 8 ft 10 in of headroom for racking or a framed-out build.
The trade-off is siting. A 45 ft box needs a longer straight approach than a 40 ft for the tilt-bed to work, it will not go on a standard 40 ft chassis, and it is heavy enough empty that repositioning it means real equipment. Confirm your access before ordering rather than after the truck arrives.
