2018 Lakota 2HBPST 2 Horse Trailer

Description

An all-aluminum two-horse bumper pull with a 4 ft short wall — an unusually large dressing room for a two-horse — at 3,190 lb empty and 7 ft 6 in inside.

A 4 ft short wall equal to the 4 ft longwall means the whole of the gooseneck-equivalent area is dressing room, which on a two-horse bumper pull is a lot of enclosed storage for the size of trailer. If you show, that is the difference between changing in the trailer and changing in the truck.

Interior height is 7 ft 6 in — 22.5 hands — over a 14 ft box at 7 ft outside width, which is comfortable for full-size horses. Recorded at 3,190 lb empty against a 7,625 lb GVWR, leaving around 4,400 lb of payload for two horses and tack. Escape door and mangers are fitted. Aluminum floors corrode at the plank seams, so lift the mats and check before buying.
