Description
A galvanneal three-horse slant load bumper pull, 17 ft box on 3,500 lb axles, with a 2 ft short wall dressing room and a 7,000 lb GVWR.
Galvanneal is the construction worth understanding here. It is steel that has been hot-dip galvanized and then annealed, giving a zinc-alloy surface that takes paint properly and resists rust far better than plain steel, at meaningfully less cost than aluminum. On a working trailer it is a sensible middle ground.
Note the width: 6 ft outside is narrow by current standards and the 7 ft interior height is 21 hands, so this suits smaller and average-framed horses rather than tall or wide ones. Three horses in a 17 ft box on 3,500 lb axles at 7,000 lb gross with 3,500 lb empty leaves 3,500 lb of payload — enough for three light horses and tack, and worth working out against your own animals before you buy. Clean as new is how the seller puts it.
