2016 Sundowner 3 Horse Gooseneck

Description

4 (1 review)·SKU PL-5235$17,600In stockAn all-aluminum three-horse gooseneck with a 4 ft short wall and 9 ft longwall, on 6,000 lb axles at a 13,000 lb GVWR against 4,050 lb empty.

Six-thousand-pound axles are an uncommon rating and a useful one — heavier than the 5,200 lb pair usual on a three-horse, lighter than the 7,000 lb axles under living quarters trailers. Against a 4,050 lb empty weight that leaves nearly nine thousand pounds of payload, which is far more than three horses and tack will ever use.

Four feet of short wall with a 9 ft longwall gives a proper dressing room over the neck. Seven feet of interior height is 21 hands, suiting horses up to about 15.2, on a 7 ft outside width and a 16 ft 10 in box. All-aluminum construction with an aluminum floor and 16 in tires. The seller records it as all aluminum. Lift the mats and check the floor seams before buying.
