A 12 ft by 8 ft all-steel store cabin: an unlined, secure lock-up for tools, materials and equipment on a building site or yard, without the fit-out cost of an office.

This is the plainest cabin in the steel range, and deliberately so. There is no insulation, heating or lighting. It is a steel box with steel doors, steel sides, a steel frame and understructure, and an 18 mm particle board floor. For a tool store or a materials lock-up, that is all you need, and skipping the fit-out keeps the price well below an office unit of the same size.

Anti-vandal construction is the point. With nothing to pry and no glazing to break, it is a hard target on an empty site overnight. It stands on its corner posts without jacklegs and stacks with other 12 by 8 units, so a store can sit under an office cabin to save ground.

Inside it gives 3.52 m by 2.36 m of floor and 2.44 m of height, a little more than the lined cabins because nothing is taken up by wall panels. The door size is not recorded on the listing, so ask before ordering if you need to get a pallet or machine through it.
