10ft x 8ft 10′ Reefer Container, Used

Description

A used 10 ft reefer, $2,500 — the smallest refrigerated container made, holding roughly 13 m³ between -25°C and +25°C to about one degree of accuracy.

Ten feet is the size that goes where cold storage otherwise cannot: an event site, a courtyard kitchen, a construction compound, a yard with no room for a 20 ft box. Thirteen cubic metres is four pallets of controlled space, which covers a caterer's week or a florist's season.

Accuracy of about one degree across that range is the specification worth noting — it is what separates a reefer from a converted cold box, and it is why these get used for anything temperature-critical rather than merely cool. Four photographs are on the listing; this is a used unit, so confirm the machinery's condition and power requirement before ordering.
