Forty feet is where a reefer stops being cold storage and starts being a cold room. Door opening is 7 ft 6 in by 8 ft 5 in on the high cube shell, which takes a pallet stack and a pallet jack together, and the interior runs the full length uninterrupted apart from the machinery bulkhead at the front.
Power is 460 V three-phase on a 30 A circuit, or 230 V with an optional step-up transformer — the transformer is stocked in the accessories category and is the difference between a reefer that runs on your site and one that does not. A 50 ft power cable is supplied.
Standard fittings are four self-closing automatic floor drains, full polyurethane insulation, a flat aluminium floor, a heavy sliding door curtain and a safety door releasable from inside. New units include full corner posts and tyne pockets for easy transport; used units are the economical route for static storage and for conversion work.
