Description
A 10 ft high cube refrigerated container, new or used from $4,500 — 2,890 mm tall against the standard 2,591, giving extra interior height in the smallest reefer footprint made.
Thirty centimetres of extra height on a 10 ft box is proportionally a lot. It is the difference between stacking two layers of crates and three, and between a unit you reach into and one a person can work in. Internal height comes out at 2,540 mm against 2,276 mm on the standard-height version.
Temperature range is -25°C to +25°C, extending to -40°C up to +35°C depending on the machine fitted. Power consumption is low and net weight is 1,250 kg, with an 8,910 kg load capacity on a 10,160 kg gross. A five-pin 16 A country plug is available as an option, which is what makes a 10 ft reefer usable on sites without three-phase service.
Doors can be substituted at 100×200, 120×200 or 140×200 cm in place of the standard double doors.
