Description
A 30,000 gallon ASME LPG storage bullet on skids, rated 250 psi MAWP at 125 degrees F. Around 109 inches in diameter and about 65 feet long.
Thirty thousand gallons is bulk plant scale: about 24,000 gallons of product on hand at an 80 percent fill, enough to keep a fleet of bobtails loading through a cold snap without waiting on a transport. Vessels this size are used for propane resale, for NGL storage, and as the primary storage at a terminal or a satellite plant.
The vessel is built to ASME Section VIII, Division 1 and National Board stamped, horizontal, rated 250 psi at 125 degrees F. Skid mounting puts it on a structural frame rather than permanent saddles, which keeps the installation relocatable and shortens the civil work at the receiving end. Loading and unloading arrangements vary with the build; packages in this class are typically configured with single or dual bulkheads and breakaway protection for transport and bobtail operations, and some are supplied with a product pump and a three-phase motor.
Confirm the exact valve train, pump and bulkhead configuration on the unit in stock before you order, because these are built to order and no two used vessels are identically fitted. Transport is an oversize load with permits in some states; we will settle routing and the offload requirement with you in advance.
