Description
An all-aluminum ten-foot utility trailer on 15 in mag wheels with a 48 in rear gate — it will not rust, and it is light enough to reposition by hand.
Aluminum changes the ownership experience of a small trailer. There is no frame to repaint, no rust creeping out from under the deck bolts, and the whole trailer weighs appreciably less than the steel equivalent, which means more of your tow rating goes to the load. The extrusion frame is engineered rather than welded up from stock sections.
The 48 in rear gate carries four supports plus the outer two and a spring-assisted latch, so it lifts easily and does not bend from daily loading. A 4 in 3,500 lb axle with greaseable hubs sits under it, on 15 in aluminum mag wheels with all-terrain tires, with fully enclosed LED lighting to DOT standard and a swivel tongue jack with a wheel.
