Description
A four-horse Lakota Charger with a 13 ft short wall, at 9,000 lb empty against a 16,800 lb GVWR — nearly 7,800 lb of payload.
That payload margin is what makes this the most practical of the four-horse LQ trailers here for anyone who actually loads to capacity. Four horses, a full tack complement, full water tanks and a stocked kitchen all fit inside it comfortably, which is not true of every trailer of this size and price.
The living quarters carry a refrigerator, cooktop and microwave, a sofa, A/C and furnace, radio and antenna, a bathroom with sink, toilet and shower, fresh, gray and black water holding with a water heater, LP tanks, battery, 110 V wiring and an awning. The horse area is a 29 ft box at 8 ft outside width with 7 ft 6 in of interior height, with mangers and an escape door, over an aluminum floor with a hydraulic jack, on 7,000 lb axles and 16 in tires.
