A Thermo King SLXi-300 single-temperature refrigeration unit for semi-trailers, listed at $7,000. It suits a carrier who wants an SLXi-generation unit to hold one set point across a full-length refrigerated van.
The SLXi series followed the SL line as Thermo King's trailer platform before the Precedent arrived, and it brought better connectivity, lower emissions and quieter running. The SLXi-300 is a mono-temperature model: one evaporator, one set point, the whole box. It mounts on the trailer nose and runs on its own diesel engine and compressor, so the load stays cold without the tractor.
We have kept the specification short on purpose. Almost every figure in the source material, including the engine, cooling capacity, weight and dimensions, belongs to the SLXi-DRC, a slim variant built for domestic rail containers, and not to the 300. Publishing those numbers here would describe a different machine.
