A Thermo King SL-200e single-temperature trailer refrigeration unit, offered new or used. The SL platform was Thermo King's long-running nose-mount trailer line before the Precedent generation.
The SL-200e is a self-powered, microprocessor-controlled trailer unit: its own diesel engine, its own compressor, and a controller that manages set point, defrost and fuel-saving cycling without input from the tractor. It was built for the same work the SB and Precedent lines do, holding one temperature across a full-length van on fresh or frozen loads, and units in service are common enough that parts and technicians are not hard to find.
Units come through in both new and used condition and the difference matters here. On a used SL, the numbers to ask about are diesel hours against electric hours, when the last major service fell, whether the refrigerant charge is holding, and whether the controller still reads and downloads. We will give you what the specific unit records.
We have deliberately not published an engine model, capacity figure or charge weight for this listing, because the supplier material behind it mixed several different trailers and units together and we could not tell which figures belonged to this one.
