Description
A 40 ft high cube open top, $2,000 reduced from $2,500 — the tallest open top made, at 2,896 mm external height with a 75.1 m³ capacity and a removable tarpaulin roof.
High cube plus open top means over-height cargo has two ways to be over-height: the extra foot of wall, and then no roof above that. It is the configuration for tall plant that still needs walls around it, and the swivelling or detachable door bar means the end doors clear fully for anything coming in horizontally.
Weights are worth reading. Tare is 4,260 kg with a 26,220 kg payload on a 30,480 kg gross rating — the roof structure a standard container carries is replaced by rails and bows, which is where the extra volume comes from.
