Description
A 20 ft standard container fitted with three heavy-duty door handles rather than the usual two, for a tighter seal and an extra locking point. New or used from $1,600 — among the least expensive 20 ft boxes stocked.
Three locking bars instead of two is a small change with two effects. It pulls the door leaf against its gasket more evenly, which matters on a used box whose seals have taken twenty years of weather, and it gives you a third point to secure. Everything else is a conventional ISO 20 ft: corrosion-resistant steel panel, marine-grade anti-rust paint, hinged double doors at one end.
At this price the unit is a storage box first. It measures 6,036 mm externally by 2,438 wide and 2,591 tall, with 5,898 × 2,362 × 2,393 mm inside and a 2,050 kg tare — a payload rating of 28,430 kg it will almost certainly never see in static use. Condition is selectable at order between new and used.
