Description
A 20 ft offshore open top container, DNV 2.7-1 certified and CSC plated, with roof bows and a tarpaulin in place of a steel roof so long or bulky loads can be craned in from above.
Some offshore cargo simply will not go through a door: pipe spools, lumber, scrap, long tooling. The open top answers that by letting the crane do the loading. Pull back the tarpaulin, drop the load in, re-sheet it and the unit is ready to lift. With slings attached it can still be stacked.
This length is built in several payload ratings, and the figure you need depends on what you are shipping. A 10 tonne flat panel version weighs about 6,900 lb empty and carries 22,050 lb offshore. The 12 tonne builds carry roughly 26,450 lb, and a 16 tonne corrugated build carries about 35,270 lb with close to 1,150 cubic feet inside. Interior height varies between versions from roughly 6 ft 11 in to 7 ft 6 in, so check it against your tallest item.
The listing states that slings are priced separately, so confirm which rating and which sling set you are getting before ordering. New and used units are offered.
