Description
A standard 10 ft steel dry container for secure storage where there is not room for a 20 ft: yards, driveways, school grounds and tight job sites. New or used, chosen at checkout.
A 10 footer takes about as much ground as a large parking space, yet it still has full-width cargo doors and 563 cubic feet inside. That makes it a practical home for groundskeeping equipment, renovation overflow, records, or a small tool crib that locks at night.
Walls are 14-gauge corrugated steel, and the floor is 1-1/8 in marine plywood or timber plank. The doors have lockable handles and a lockbox that shields the padlock from bolt cutters. Vents reduce condensation, and forklift pockets allow it to be lifted and repositioned. On paper it weighs about 3,500 lb empty and is rated for 35,000 lb of payload, far more than anyone stores in a box this size.
Inside you get roughly 7 ft 8 in of width and 7 ft 10 in of height, while the outside is 10 ft by 8 ft by 8 ft 6 in. New units cost more and look tidier. Used units are working containers with visible wear and suit buyers who care more about price than paint.
