Description
Thirty feet of 8 ft 6 in deck sitting above the wheels, on a gooseneck, with tandem 7,000 lb axles and a five-foot self-cleaning dovetail at the tail.
Deckover means no wheel wells to work around. The full 8 ft 6 in width is usable end to end, which matters when you are carrying anything wide — hay, building materials, a machine with a bucket on it. The trade is deck height, which is why the five-foot dovetail and five-foot standing ramps are fitted: they bring the loading angle back down to something a wheeled machine can climb.
The self-cleaning dovetail design means debris and mud fall through rather than packing into the tail. A chain box at the front holds binders and chains out of the deck space, stake pockets run the full length for uprights or tall sides, and D-rings are welded in for strapping. The gooseneck coupling puts the pin weight over the truck's rear axle — a pickup with a bed hitch is required.
