Description
Tandem 3,500 lb axles under a twelve-foot V-nose box with 6 ft 6 in of interior height and barn doors at the rear.
Two axles on a twelve-foot trailer is about stability rather than length. Four tires track straighter at highway speed and give you the payload margin to carry something dense in a short trailer — and if a tire fails, the trailer stays up. Rear-axle brakes handle the stopping.
Barn doors rather than a ramp is the other choice here: they open in a tighter space, weigh less, and let a forklift get right to the deck. The extra six inches of interior height over the usual 6 ft makes a real difference to working inside. A 36 in man door on the passenger side with RV flush lock and bar lock, two side vents, a 12 V dome light, and a 24 in ATP stone guard on the V-nose.
