20ft Container Chassis

Description

A 20 ft intermodal chassis at $4,500: 23 ft 6 in overall, 48 in frame height, two axles on eight tyres, rated to carry one 20 ft marine container at 67,200 lb. Tare 6,700 lb.

The 67,200 lb carrying rating is the full CSC gross of a loaded 20 ft container, which is what this frame is built to accept — the twist locks catch the corner castings and nothing else is required. Frame height of 48 in is standard dock height, so a loaded box can be reversed to a warehouse door and worked with a pallet truck.
