Description
A four-horse Lakota Charger with a Glideout and an oven in the living quarters, at 10,710 lb empty against a 15,440 lb GVWR.
The payload figure is the one to plan around: about 4,700 lb once the trailer's own weight is subtracted. Four horses at roughly 1,200 lb each is already 4,800 lb before tack or water, so this is a trailer that wants either fewer horses or lighter ones, and careful attention to how much water you carry.
The living quarters carry a refrigerator, oven and microwave, A/C and furnace, radio and antenna, a bathroom with sink, toilet and shower, fresh, gray and black water holding with a water heater, LP tanks, battery and 110 V wiring, on a Glideout slide. The horse area is a 31 ft box at 8 ft outside width with 7 ft 6 in of interior height and mangers throughout, over an aluminum floor with a hydraulic jack.
