A new 2024 Diamond C 8.5 × 20 ft deckover equipment trailer, 20,000 lb GVWR, with a 48 in dovetail and 72 in flip-knee ramps, for contractors moving skid steers, compact excavators and wide attachments.
The flip-knee ramps are the reason to pick this one. They fold at the knee so they sit flush with the dovetail when stowed and extend to a long, low approach when loading, which spares low-clearance machines and tracks. With the deck over the wheels you also get the full 8.5 ft of width.
Two 10,000 lb Super Lube axles with self-adjusting electric brakes ride on torsion straight-axle suspension and ST215/75R17.5 radials. The tongue is 8 in × 15 lb I-beam integral with the frame, and 3 in I-beam crossmembers sit on 16 in centres under 2 in treated decking. It couples with a 21,000 lb flat-mount Demco EZ-Latch.
Options on this unit: a slide track with a welded ratchet, V-tongue storage with a lid, a spare mount, six 5/8 in D-rings, retractable front steps and an underslung box. Standard is a 3/8 in rub rail with stake pockets and pipe spools, a 12,000 lb drop-leg jack and all-LED lights. Black; 4,690 lb empty, 15,310 lb payload.
