2019 Trails West Manufacturing Classic II 4 Horse Trailer

Description

A four-horse Classic II with the stall dimensions published: 129 in of diagonal stall length, 41 in pin to pin and a 31 in actual divider width.

Published stall dimensions are rare and they are the numbers that decide whether a horse travels well. A 129 in diagonal is a long slant stall; 41 in pin to pin is generous. Measure your horse against those figures rather than against the trailer's overall length, which tells you nothing about how the animal stands.

Construction is a 2 × 10 Douglas fir floor under rubber mats, a one-piece aluminum roof, and a smooth triple-wall exterior finished with phosphatized pre-treatment, epoxy primer and infrared-cured polyurethane. Upgraded to 7 ft 4 in of height on a 7 ft width and 21 ft 8 in floor, recorded at 4,773 lb. Six-thousand-pound torsion axles with easy-lube hubs and four-wheel electric brakes, galvanized gate hinges, a first-stall escape door, rotary slam-latch dividers with gas shock holdbacks, and a 38 in inset double-skinned tack door with stainless hinges.
