2018 Lakota 84HBPSL 4 Horse Trailer with 2′ Short Wall

Description

An all-aluminum four-horse bumper pull with a 2 ft short wall and 7 ft longwall, on 7,000 lb axles and 16 in tires, with an aluminum floor.

Seven-thousand-pound axles under a bumper-pull four-horse is a heavy specification and the right one — four horses at working weight is close to five thousand pounds before tack, and a trailer this size needs the rating and the 16 in tires that go with it rather than the 3,500 lb pair usual on smaller trailers.

Two feet of short wall with a 7 ft longwall gives a modest dressing area over the tongue rather than a room. All-aluminum construction with an aluminum floor means no rust, though the floor still corrodes at the plank seams where urine collects — lift the mats and check. A spare tire and manual jack are fitted. A one-off on the lot, offered used and as it stands.
