2006 Featherlite 8412LQ 4 Horse Trailer with 12′ Short Wall

Description

A four-horse Featherlite with a 12 ft short wall living quarters and 7 ft 7 in of interior height — 22.75 hands, the tallest in this size class — on an 8 ft width.

Seven foot seven is an unusual figure and a useful one. It is taller than the 7 ft 6 in that most full-size horses need, which means genuine clearance above the poll rather than the minimum, and on an 8 ft wide body it makes a 30 ft box a comfortable place for four horses on a long haul.

Twelve feet of short wall is a full apartment: refrigerator, cooktop and microwave, sofa, A/C and furnace, a bathroom with sink, toilet and shower, fresh, gray and black tanks with a water heater, LP tanks, battery and 110 V wiring. All-aluminum construction with an aluminum floor and an electric jack keeps it to 9,800 lb empty. Escape door and mangers fitted. Inspect the floor seams and test every system before buying.
