Description
All-aluminum, three-horse, 15 ft box with 7 ft 6 in of interior height on 5,200 lb axles and 16 in tires — recorded at 3,800 lb empty against 9,900 lb gross.
Sixteen-inch tires rather than fifteen is a small specification with real consequences. A larger wheel runs cooler at highway speed, carries more per tire, and gives the axle and brake assembly more leverage — on a trailer likely to cover distance loaded, it is a meaningful difference from the 15 in fitment on most trailers this size.
The 22.5 hand interior height clears horses in the 16 to 17 hand range comfortably. The 1 ft short wall means the dressing area is minimal — this is set up to haul rather than to stay in. Aluminum will not rust but its floors corrode at the plank seams, so lift the mats before you commit. All aluminum and very clean, in the seller’s words.
